Edgardo F. is a dedicated Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) student intern at Capella University, expected to graduate in December 2026. He holds a bachelor’s in Clinical Psychology from the University of Central Florida and associate’s degrees in Office Administration and General Studies from Valencia College. Fully fluent in Spanish and English, he can serve a diverse, bilingual population.
Currently working as a substance abuse counselor, Edgardo also has experience as a psychiatric technician. This background fuels his passion for working therapeutically with individuals, couples, children, and especially families. His therapeutic mission focuses on establishing “a foundation for structure and safety.” Edgardo’s primary goal is to accurately understand clients’ needs, build strong, authentic therapeutic relationships, and expertly guide them through complex issues to achieve well-being and growth.
